Every story has at least one angel without whom the whole unfolding wouldn't happen. In Warm Hearts case, that angel is Krishna, shown here with Peggy, during an unexpected visit to Orcas Island in September 2007. Krishna runs a trekking company in Kathmandhu when he's not being a lawyer, father, husband or manager of an orphanage that he and his wife started in order to get street kids diverted into a better life. Krishna appeared through the "small world" or "six degrees of separation" process as a result of a conversation I was having in the grocery store on Orcas with a friend about my desire to continue helping Roshna. She had recently returned from Tibet and Nepal, and had (small world) a chance encounter with Krishna. A few emails later, he agreed to provide the on-site support by which I could transfer funds to his U.S. Bank account and he could withdraw them in Nepal. He would then make payments directly to the schools and the internet cafe, ensuring that the educational services would be available.
